Meet Alesha M. Boulton

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Supervised by Karen Shafer, LPC-S

Hi. Iā€™m Alesha Boulton. My career in mental health began 8 years ago and I have had the opportunity to work with individuals and couples in a variety of settings.

Seeking support is a courageous step, and I am here to provide a compassionate and collaborative space for your journey toward healing and growth. I believe that everyone possesses the inherent capacity for positive change, and my goal is to empower you to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and resilience. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Your unique perspectives are deeply valued, and my role is to work alongside you to develop personalized strategies that align with your goals.

My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, but I draw from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior, and tailor treatment to your needs and preferences. I work with individuals and couples experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. The therapeutic relationship is an integral part of healing, so my work is centered around fostering that connection. My approach is relational, compassionate, and authentic.

My role as a therapist is to collaborate with, support, understand, and encourage my clients to realize their full purpose and worth. I have been on both sides of the therapy room and know how imperative the therapeutic relationship is to your healing. Whether you're seeking to overcome past traumas, improve your relationships, or simply gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I am dedicated to supporting you in building a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I look forward to connecting with you.
