We’re here to help you bloom into your most authentic self.
Therapy is more than just exploring emotional wounds. It can also be a source of joy and peace as you discover how wonderful and powerful you are. Together we will laugh, rejoice, connect and find renewed hope. There will also be plenty of “aha!” moments for us to celebrate.
Meet Karen Shafer
Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor
As a mom and wife with an exacting career, I know how it feels to be drowning in expectations. It took me many years to realize that no matter how many things I achieved I would never feel truly valued until I learned to love myself by figuring out and asking for what I need. My wish is to share this knowledge with anyone who feels unimportant, overwhelmed, invisible or just plain lost. You deserve to love yourself and I want to show you how.
I provide non-judgmental therapeutic support that focuses on empowering and equipping you to create a life that feels good. I truly appreciate the trust, effort and personal resources my clients put into doing therapy with me and in return provide reliable, effective therapy that produces results. Your time and commitment to therapy are precious and will always be treated with respect. In session you are the expert of your life experiences. Our sessions will be a safe space to discuss any topics that you'd like to explore as we work collaboratively to find techniques that work for you.
